Youth Ministries
Brenda Farmer at ext. 2228 will be happy to tell you about the wonderful youth education program at St. Jude. Volunteer to be a catechist or aid and make a difference in the lives of our youth!

All proceeds from the St. Jude Courtyard Carnival on Saturday, October 2nd will benefit St. Cecilia's School in South Dallas. The Carnival Committee is seeking donations of goods and services to be raffled off in our efforts to raise money. Do you have a vacation home or time-share you'd be willing to donate? Cowboys or other sporting events tickets? A local business that could help in some way? Please contact Kim Cross to donate, or for more information.

This Sunday, the Knights of Columbus will be selling BBQ to Go sandwiches after all Masses while supplies last.

Bridge Players

Bridge players are invited to join the Monday afternoon game from Noon-3pm in the Parish Hall. Sign up now to participate in the Round Robin monthly games beginning in September. Ann Roemerman will give you more info.

Brown Bag Lunch

Jenny Stewart from Consumer Credit Counseling Service will be the presenter this time. Please bring your lunch to the Parish Hall at 11:30am (we provide the lemonade!) Safe Environment Training

Training for NEW volunteers, (must be at least 18) is on Thursday at 6:30pm or Saturday, August 21st at 9am. Only one session is necessary. Class times, dates and alternative locations are listed at http://dallas.setanet.org/. Screening Forms, also on the site, must be completed before attending any training class.
