Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as children of God. The parish is the Eucharistic community and the heart of the liturgical life of Christian families; it is a privileged place for the catechesis of children and parents." We feel very strongly about partnering with our parents, and feel honored to share in the faith journey of each teen. Parents receive weekly updates of weekly Life Night topics, and parents are welcome to attend any Life Night, or high school event offered for our youth (Safe Environment clearance may be necessary in some instances). In addition to your physical involvement, we welcome your questions, suggestions, and comments about our activities and events. As parents ourselves, we hope to provide the best faith formation programs at St. Jude that will enable our teens to feel strong in their faith as they look to their college years.

ADULTS NEEDED
We are blessed with a large youth population at St. Jude. With over 400 youth preparing for Confirmation through our JYM program, and an additional 150 youth registered in your Life Savers high school youth ministry programs, we are always looking for adult Catholics to serve as catechists and mentors. All that is required is completion of the St. Jude Safe Environment program, and a love of the faith, and a desire to share that love with our youth. All materials and books are supplied, and training and support is ongoing throughout the year.
