Debbie Benko - Prosecuting Attorney for Collin County,
1985 to 1995. Member task force for Collin County Children's
Advocacy Center through 1995, trained in child sexual abuse
issues and dealing with child sex offenders; Adjunct Professor
at CCCC for 4 years, teaching various criminal law courses.
Debbie is currently the law based mediator with Mediation
Matters LLC. Wife of Bill Benko for 14 years; mother of
three; member of St. Jude 7 years; taught 5th grade Religious
Education, 3 years
Peggy Runnels - Safe Environment Director for St.
Jude and a member of the parish since 1986 and parish secretary
since 1987. Over the years, Peggy has been active in all
aspects of parish life, former Catechist, currently assisting
with JYM and mother of two grown sons.
Tim Bray, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor of Criminology
at the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining the
University in 2002, Dr. Bray worked in various capacities
in a number of policing agencies, most recently as an Assistant
Bureau Chief for Research and Development with the Illinois
State Police. Dr. Bray is a father of three young daughters.
Val Kerrigan - B.S. in Business/Public Administration
from the University of Nebraska; five years active duty
with the US Army in Asia; recently retired after twenty
eight years with the government. Val is married to Lois
for 32 years; has two grown sons and one granddaughter.
Susanne Arnold -. Sue is a Supervisor with Collin
County Child Protective Services for 13 years. Her office
is located at the Collin County Children's Advocacy Center
in Plano where she works in conjunction with law enforcement
to protect children from abuse and neglect. A resident of
Allen and member of St. Jude for 11 years, Suzanne is the
mother of one son. Sue is also a volunteer catechist for
Religious Education.
Lynnette Droge - BS Degree in Social Work from Kansas
State University; worked at Children Resource Services in
Dallas as a caseworker, as a volunteer with the C.H.A.P.S
program teaching school children about personal safety and
"stranger danger"; also with a Domestic Violence
Agency; for the Wake County Juvenile Court reporting on
child/family progress and recommendations; as a caseworker
and licensing foster homes. Lynette is the wife of Keith
Droge for 14 years and mother of three. Lynne is a volunteers
teaching Religious Education at St. Jude.
