Mission Statement
As Christian adults, we have a moral and legal responsibility
and are entrusted by God with the spiritual, emotional and
physical well-being of children. As they participate in
activities within or sponsored by our Diocese, it is our
responsibility and commitment to provide an environment
that is safe and nurturing.
For more info, see The
Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People available in both English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Polish and
Korean.
Safe Environment Program
Update
Important Message for
Parents
To remain in compliance with the Diocese of Dallas Safe
Environment policies, all volunteers must attend a continuing
education class annually. Recertification classes can be
done online or by attending one of the monthly recertification classes.
These recertification classes will be done on a monthly
basis; check the bulletin for dates and times. Topic this
year is Internet Safety. The volunteers of St.
Jude are to be commended for their patience, cooperation,
and dedication to keep our parish family as safe as humanly
possible. We are only as good as our volunteers eyes
and ears. If you have a large group that needs to be recertified,
please let me know, and we can make arrangements for a special
group showing! Popcorn not included.
NEW volunteers can complete the Diocese of Dallas Screening form online.
Again, this form is for new volunteers only.
