2008 Recertification Modules

Here is the latest online training approved by the diocese:

1) Go to www.churchlawtoday.com
2) Under "Congregational Training Center", click "Online Seminars"
3) Enter user name: Dallas (case sensitive)
4) Enter password:  Diocese (case sensitive)
5) Click on "Understanding the Problem of Child Sexual Abuse and the Church"
6) Read through the seminar
7) Complete the "Comprehensive Test"
8) Print test and sign your name
9) Return test to Safety Officer

The “PDF” files* below contain Safe Environment Training Update modules. This is an acceptable option for persons already cleared to meet their annual recertification training requirement. Watch one of the two videos below and complete the quiz. Turn the completed quiz into the Safe Environment office for Recertification credit. The proliferation of child predators using the Internet to target young victims has become a national crisis. A study shows one in seven children will be solicited for sex online in the next year.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is urging all parents and teachers to realize the risks our children face online, and take steps to help ensure their children’s safety.
