Thank you very much for visiting our parish, either online
or in person. We are a unique community with a similar uniqueness
that is found among the families and individuals that make
up our parish. A few years ago we celebrated an international
dinner to enjoy what we though was a diverse representation
of people from around the world. We were surprised to find
thirty two nations represented at that dinner. Our diversity
spreads into age groups, economic considerations and even
where we live. While we are predominantly a parish of young
families, we enjoy a wonderful opportunity to cross all
kinds of lines.
We continue to grow as a parish. This has been a constant
for us over the course of the last decade. At times, we
grow by over fifteen percent a year. This has strained both
our organization and our resources. We have a firm desire
to build and maintain a strong sense of community. While
we know that we can no longer be a small parish with a close
knit, family feel, we nonetheless desire to
create bonds of real friendship.
We are also deeply committed to our youth and children.
We maintain a strict approach to the Catholic Churchs
program to protect children (Safe
Environment). Our Life Savers program for our high school youth is one of the
largest youth programs in the area. As well, we have a large
and very successful Junior
High and Childrens
Ministry program. Please look through the programs in
the Parish
Ministries and Spiritual
Growth sections of the website for more information
about these and other programs.
Our future includes new goals that are now developing to
expand our programs in the parish. A focal point for the
near future will include a new mission effort to the Catholic
Church in Honduras. This will be joined to our current efforts
in Mexico. As we have completed our new church, we are praying
that God will help us to strengthen our sense of community
and guide us to new efforts to care for those in need.
Please accept our welcome to our parish. If there is anything
that we can do to help you make this your home, please do
not hesitate to ask. We are here to serve you.
