Although the St. Jude CAAM (Catholic Alcohol and Addiction Ministry) can‘t meet weekly we will be hosting an online weekly ZOOM meeting at our regularly scheduled time every Saturday at 9:15 am. Please contact Steve for the link to join. The meeting is for those who feel they, or someone they know, may have an alcohol or addiction problem. This is an “open” meeting (meaning anyone can attend), While we conduct our meeting similar to the AA traditions, we are not affiliated with AA, NA, or addiction-specific organization. Our purpose is to guide those who suffer from alcoholism or addiction, and their family and friends, toward recovery.

Providing Help...Creating Hope to those in need, regardless of faith. Professional counseling for families and individuals – alcoholism, addictions, family counseling.
Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church to serve each other, our services extend the ministries of parishes throughout the distinct and diverse communities of the Diocese of Dallas.
St. Jude Catholic Alcohol and Addictions Ministry does not endorse specific alcohol or addictions recovery resources or services. However, we do recommend that any program selected for assistance in recovery be spiritually-based. Such programs generally encourage sustained use of the process based on the 12 Steps of recovery developed by the group Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) agency of the US government provides a searchable list of public and private services and resources for locating appropriate help based on disease specifics, geographic location and other factors. SAMHSA is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities (see https://www.samhsa.gov/).
