1. What are the carnival hours and dates?
   1. St. Jude Catholic Church’s annual carnival will be September 7^th to 10^th, 2023 on the Church grounds.  Operating hours are as follows:
      • Thursday September 7^th, 2023 – 6PM to 10PM
      • Friday, September 8^th, 2023 – 6PM to 11PM
      • Saturday, September 9^th – 2PM to 7PM (Courtyard Carnival) & 3 PM to 11 PM (Midway)
      • Sunday, September 11^th – 3PM to 10PM
2. What is the location of the Church?
   1. St. Jude is located in Allen, Texas.  Our street address is 1515 N. Greenville Ave, which is between Stacey Road and Exchange. Click here to find us on Google Maps.  
3. Is there a fee for parking or admission?
   1. There are no fees for admission or parking.
4. Is the carnival open to the public?
   1. Yes, this event is open to the public.  We’d love for you to stop by and have some fun.
5. What is the cost for each ride?
   1. Most rides in the St. Jude Courtyard Carnival on Saturday require at least four tickets.  Rides in the Midway are priced by Talley Amusements.  Click here for information on prices.  
6. What is the cost for each game at the courtyard carnival?
   1. Most games in the St. Jude Courtyard Carnival on Saturday require at least 2 tickets. 
7. Are there height restrictions on rides in the Talley Midway?
   1. Yes, there are height restrictions which are posted at each ride.
8. Are there ATM’s on the property?
   1. Talley Amusements has several ATM’s available in the Midway (in and among the rides on the grass south of the buildings).
9. Can I purchase tickets in advance?
   1. Talley amusements uses an app called Talley Tickets which is available before the carnival.  This app is usable at any event where Talley is the ride provider.  Follow this link for more information. 
10. Is the Talley Tickets wristband reusable?
    1. Guests also have the ability to obtain a wristband from a kiosk in the Talley Midway area.  A part of obtaining these cards is an option to load them with money.  Unused funds on the card can be used at other Talley events, or at next year’s St. Jude Carnival!
11. Are there height restrictions for rides?
    1. Yes, follow this link for information on age and size restrictions for rides.
12. Is there a lost and found area?
    1. Lost and found items will be held at the welcome table which is at the north entrance to the Talley Midway (just south of the buildings).
13. I have money left over on my Magic Money card from last year, is it still good?
    1. Yes it is, for some purchases.  For others, you will need to download the Talley Tickets app. 
14. Where do attendees park?
    1. Parking is available in the existing surface lots of the church.  Approximately 800 temporary spots are created in the north and south grass areas of the church property.  They are well marked and lighted, and our Knights of Columbus will assist you with entering and exiting the lots.  Please be courteous and operate your vehicles responsibly while on our property (there are lots of people wandering around).
15. Is there a designated  drop off/pick up  for my older teens ?
    1. There is no formal drop off / pickup area.  We encourage parents to enter the north parking lot, turn left at the first or second parking row and proceed to the roundabout.  They can safely drop off their passengers and pick them up.  Parents may also enter the south grass parking lot off Trinity BLVD and proceed north towards the fair grounds.  They can drop their passengers off and exit the way they entered the south parking lot.
16. Are pets allowed?
    1. Pets are allowed, although it may not be a hospitable environment for them.  There can be large numbers of people, loud noises and it can be very hot.
17. Are there police officers on the premise during the carnival?
    1. Yes.  City of Allen police officers are on premise any hours the carnival is operating.  They are present on the grounds as well as ensuring traffic flow around the church property is occurring safely.
18. Are reloadable Talley Tickets wristbands from Talley interchangeable with St. Jude Courtyard Carnival wristbands?
    1. RELOADABLE TALLEY TICKETS WRISTBANDS FOR TALLEY MIDWAY RIDES are NOT interchangeable with wristbands/tickets for the St. Jude Courtyard Carnival games on Saturday, Sept. 10^th.
    2. Talley Tickets cards for the midway can be purchased in the midway area. No cash transactions.
19. Are refunds available on Talley Tickets Cards or St. Jude Courtyard Carnival Tickets?
    1. There are no refunds – rain or shine.
