There are numerous opportunities for Teens to serve in our parish.  Service hours are a key part of their formation for Confirmation.  It is important to learn the joy of serving others - and that service to others is an essential part of Jesus' teaching. When we serve others, we learn that service is it's own reward.

Teens receive service hours by serving as the following:

• a Teen Aide for Religious Education
• assist the Knights of Columbus serve and clean up during the Lenten Fish Frys
• stripping palms for Palm Sunday
• help decorating the church for Christmas or Easter
• volunteer for the Courtyard Carnival
• volunteer for Mission Week and their annual Mission Trip and more...

JYM parents will be emailed when opportunities are available for their students to get their service hours. 

We offer a special Safe Environment training just for teens who work with children and the elderly.
