What is it?

It is a group of parishioners at St. Jude who have answered the call to lead our outreach efforts in the parish. They came together for the first time in 2006 and meet quarterly as a team.  If you want to be involved in serving your community through any of our ministries, please contact us for more information.  The organizations that fall under this umbrella are:

The People Helping People Emergency Assistance Ministry is an organization that provides emergency assistance for people in need.
 
This year the requests for assistance have increased tremendously.  There were 327 families or 866 people in all who were helped because of your generous donations.  Most of those requests were for assistance with rent and utilities.  People Helping People works with several other groups in Allen and McKinney to help those people who are facing struggles in their lives.  Your support has been such a blessing for many people in our parish and community.  Thank you so very much.
